Top 20 most beautiful men… in my “eye”

September 16, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Beauty is in the “eye” of the beholder or so I’ve heard. Anyway, I need a break from genetics, immunology and drugs for a bit and daydream about the guys I can only drool over. I’ve only met two in the list, but I don’t know any of the guys personally. But maybe that’s just the way I want to view them in my pretty little head. At school, I see a lot of guys, good looking guys–just the absolute top 5% of the gene pool! I just don’t know them and can’t name them. However, by the beauty of media, I can find the subjects that most can relate to: celebrities. I really do miss watching these men on tv and pictures, but with so much other priorities in my head, I can rarely find the time to sit down and watch a good flick. I’m sure when I get older and get a whole lot more steady in my life, I’d force my boyfriend to watch their movies, games, or shows. For now, here’s my list.

1) Adam Garcia – He does theatre. Aussie accent. I LOVE theater actors. If you can sing tenor, I melt that way as well.

2) Jason Statham – Rugged features, my love for action flicks, and that awesome accent… what else is there to note?

3) Chris Judd – Softspoken, but with the aura that is noticed by all, even when he stood next to a star like Ms. Lopez.

4) Osawa Yukiyoshi – What can I say? I have a thing for Asian Guys. I’ve actually seen this man in person and he literally took my breath away. I also seen the maestro dad as well. Surreal.

5) Daniel Henney – Eurasians are hot.

6) Rico Yan – Even though he has passed on, his dimples and inviting eyes still warms my heart.

7) Brandon Vera – Because he’s super masculine looking, but a goofball at heart. I really wanted to marry this man, but wouldn’t dare crush on him when he’s married to a professional boxer.

8 ) Jon Avila – Mr. Mullaly or whatever he wants to call himself. He’s spiritual and that’s something noteworthy about him. And yes, he’s also handsome (which is a plus). I can’t resist those eyes… and the accent. I’m sure his mom would love me.

9) Clive Owen – He’s an awesome actor. Enough said.

10) Vin Diesel – If only I could wake up to his voice, I’d have a great day, EVERYDAY.

11) James Blake – Out of all the guys listed, he’s the one I adore the most. I’m blown away by his brains AND brawn. I just melt when I see him play. If James Blake is playing on the tele, just place a “Do Not Disturb” sign on my forehead and leave me alone.

12) John Lloyd Cruz -  His awesome acting skills and charisma makes me wish I knew him personally.

13) Jason Momoa – Who can forget about this man? The exotic hapa, island boy look can’t be ignored.

14) Scott Wong – I’ve gone to a AVP tourney and saw him play. I couldn’t pay attention to the game all that well because I was busy daydreaming about this man.

15) Craig Wing – Rugby player. I’m a track and soccer dork back in high school. We would have been a perfect match! Cebuano pud ko. I would so make sure his mama loved me.

16) John Cho – I have a thing for korean guys. What can I say? From my experience though, in general, korean moms tend to not approve of me just because I’m not Korean. Believe me, they’ve really made it hard for me to like their sons to the point that I can say Mianhe without an accent.

17) Richard Gere – When I was a kid, I had a huge crush on him. It must have been his “Chingky” eyes.

18) Ryan Reynolds – He’s my Adonis. Have you seen him in Amityville? I love his build. Not too scrawny, not too thick, JUST RIGHT!

19) Apollo Anton Ohno – Just because he’s a hot asian Olympian.

20) Bruce Lim – Ok, he’s not really the best in physique.  Who cares that he’s out of shape? The man proves useful in the kitchen! There’s just something so admirable about a guy who can cook. I wish a guy would bake some flan for me. Le sigh.

I actually look for someone articulate, with conservative principles, family oriented, spiritually strong, and someone who appreciates the little things and simple things—someone a lot like me. I don’t really care about anything else. I don’t care if they’ll be rolling in the money because I can take care of that when I’m professionally settled. Anyway, money isn’t worth anything if you have no one to enjoy the benefits. There’s not a whole lot in common between these people listed, but I’m sure, part of the bias may be placed on the roles that they played in the movies, sports or shows. Oh well. Then again, all I have to do is go to a university and place myself in the middle of campus to enjoy the local eye candy. Whoever can analyze my list, feel free to do so. For now, I have to get back to whatever I was studying. Looks like I have a long day tomorrow. Peace YO.
